Circle of Life Yoga was born from a thought Kelly Patrick had one day while driving. She wasn’t a yoga teacher, and had never done yoga but at that moment she understood her assignment. She completed her 200 hour training and began teaching to build a following, knowing her long term goal was to open a studio. After two years of teaching in various gyms, Kelly settled on Olmsted Falls. She and her two children live in Olmsted Falls, and attend Olmsted Falls Schools. Kelly wanted to be close to home, her kids, and their pets.
Kelly’s formal occupational therapy education provides a solid foundation of knowledge, skills, and evidence-based practices, while her lived experiences bring depth, authenticity, and empathy to her work. Together, they create a unique perspective, allowing Kelly to connect deeply with others, tailor holistic approaches, and bridge the gap between academic understanding and real-world application. This synergy enhances her ability to guide, educate, and inspire others on their healing journeys.
Along the way, Kelly completed her 300-hour yoga teacher training, Yoga for Trauma, Yoga for Cancer, and Senior Yoga certifications. With a strong foundation within the studio and all of the amazing instructors and students to keep it alive, Kelly has been able to take time to branch off to create trauma-informed programs.
Kelly’s mission is to empower individuals and professionals to understand the pervasive impact of trauma and integrate trauma-informed principles into their practices and lives. By fostering awareness, compassion, and holistic healing approaches, she aims to create safer, more supportive environments where everyone—regardless of their background—can heal, grow, and thrive.
